First Day of School

My double duo are off to face the big school. I have never felt so alone.

My dear little ones are off and I am sure it is the beginning of independence. I have never been so nervous and scared in my life. My little Neicell is in a small group Kindergarten at a different school. I have been so nervous that Erickell wont be there to keep an eye on her and help her get around. Neicell gets lost so easy. She will cross the street and forget where she is going or what house she is suppose to visit. Erickell has always been her little mommy and guidance director. I am sure it is good, but as a mom it makes me sick. Erickell, I never have to worry about, except her over abundant brightness. She wants to learn so much and isn't afraid to speak out. I am so proud of both of my girls and the huge strides they have made this week. I know they are going to be very accomplished and smart when they grow up, hey look at their parents. Just kidding they are both wonderful girls. I love you both and hate more than anything to see you grow up.

I Survived (barely)

I finished my first and hopefully not last half marathon. I am truely proud I made it without an expensive ambulance ride. I have had such a blast training with my dear friends, Risa, Milinda, and Lisa. I am so grateful they pushed my fat "A" the entire time and were there to cheer me through the finish line. I plan on running the Moab other half in October. Wish me luck. Just in case you all are wondering I made it in 2:12 not my goal but that is ok. I also will post pictures when I get them from someone else.

Timpanogos Cave

Timp Cave, the girls made it without complaining (due to bribery). I am so proud of them for making it in under 1 hour and without any complaining. We enjoyed ourselves and loved the cave. There are so many wonderful things in this world. We are so lucky to see these beautiful sites. Yesterday the girls saw a blind man walking out of the Legacy center. We talked about how he doesn't get to see the beauties of this world and how hard it would be. The girls were in such awe, they still are having the hardest time comprehending the fact he can't see anything. What he can see is the pitch darkness we saw in the Timp Cave. I am truly grateful for my eyesight and the chance I get to see the world and share it with my children. I couldn't imagine not seeing my children's face or watching them experience life.

Lagoon was a blast, despite the crazy people you encounter. The girls had a blast. Erickell was tall enough to ride all the rides. Poor Neicell was 2 inches short. She cried and cried but next year she has hope. Neicell is our little dare devil so it was really hard to see her so upset because she loves thrill rides. We enjoyed going with my good friend Risa and her family. Enjoy the pictures, Erickell was brave enough to go on the Wicked and yes there is a story to tell about that.

I wanted my sweet husband to see and enjoy all his many friends and family and of course to be humiliated and embarrassed (isn't too hard with him). I am so grateful for all the friends and family that helped with the bash. It was a success and the food was great. I am so grateful at the huge turn out and for being Eric's friend. I know you all came for me but he doesn't know that (just kidding). Anyone and everyone knows what a wonderful man he is and this was such a tribute to the best guy ever.
