Random Disneyland pictures

Disneyland

Disneyland is my absolute favorite. There isn't a place in this world that feels as magical as the happiest place on earth. The kids just love it and yep, so do I. Erickell was tall enough to ride all the rides and Neicell was just happy to ride Tower of Terror! Too, bad the Nimo ride didn't agree with Neicell (she had a seizure just as we were loading the ride so she missed out) it gives us an excuse to go again right?

Girls weekend with Alli and baby Capri

Girls weekend with the gang
Corie, Amy and I flew to California to spend the weekend taking care of Alli and baby Capri. We ate great food, went shopping, and hung out. We loved reminiscing over old times and doting over baby Capri.

Bubble Heads

Kell & Cell

These two, I am not sure what to do with them. I told them they could get in the "big tub" but wow I couldn't believe they had the entire bathroom over flowing with bubbles.

Draper Temple

The girls and I attended the Draper Temple Open House. We had such a great time, I loved sitting in the sealing rooms with them telling them all about my special day in that room 11 years ago.
This is a picture of Neicell days after her birth and then 1 week after fighting for her life. The nurses at Primary's told me to take a picture of her when she was so sick because I wouldn't remember how bad it was today. I didn't do it until 2 days after she was doing better. So the picture you see is actually when she was doing slightly better than her worst days. She got so swollen that you can't even tell it is the same baby. Her entire body shut down, they gave us one day for her to improve or they were going to do ECMO (it stands for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. to break that phrase down, it's basically saying that because her lungs were unable to do so, her blood would be oxygenated (membrane oxygenation) by this machine, not her own body (extracorporeal.) similar to a dialysis machine, her blood would be taken from her body from one site and run through this machine while simultaneously being put back into her body at another site when it was finished in the machine.) Her first month of life is such an amazing story. After a ward fast the investigational drug they tried was flown from Pennsylvania overnight. That was just the start of all the miracles that followed. I am so grateful for prayer and the priesthood, because without it I am not sure she would be here.

Last night was another one of those sleepless nights worrying about my little girl. Neicell had another seizure last night but this one was different than the rest her paralysis and stroke like symptoms were on the opposite side. Being a paranoid freakish nurse I always think the worst such as a brain bleed, or mass, and etc. We ran to the ER, and of course they told us to follow up with our doctors because they don't want to touch her. Yuck, I am at loss with all this. I am tired of feeling so helpless and out of control. I am in my profession because I am a control freak and look I can't even help my own child. I pray they can find some answers soon and help her. I couldn't imagine what she feels, especially when she is paralyzed on one side for 30 minutes or so. So, we hope the end of March they do another MRI and see if there is anything else that might give us a glympse into these crazy seizures. We thought for sure we were out of the woods being double dosed on meds and already having a couple last month. Hmm time will tell and I keep telling myself "day by day, we can do this."

Dad's Birthday

Good ol' TM had a birthday. Dad was going to be in Costa Rica for his birthday so we decided to celebrate early and have a party. The grandkids love parties, I think they all like the candles and fire. I want my dear ol' day to know I love him dearly and I am so thankful for all he has done. He makes me laugh daily and is ALWAYS there for me. He is the easiest man to talk to and yes, he isn't like all other men he talks FOREVER. I love it, nothing, that I am use to at home. I love you Dad Happy Birthday!!

Beautiful day in the neighborhood

the girls got outside today and played in the sand pile. I loved it!!

My lemon tree has finally gave me fruit. I love lemons, I grew up eating them plain with just a little salt. I just hope it bears more fruit, because the girls ate the only ones.
