Timpanogos Cave

Timp Cave, the girls made it without complaining (due to bribery). I am so proud of them for making it in under 1 hour and without any complaining. We enjoyed ourselves and loved the cave. There are so many wonderful things in this world. We are so lucky to see these beautiful sites. Yesterday the girls saw a blind man walking out of the Legacy center. We talked about how he doesn't get to see the beauties of this world and how hard it would be. The girls were in such awe, they still are having the hardest time comprehending the fact he can't see anything. What he can see is the pitch darkness we saw in the Timp Cave. I am truly grateful for my eyesight and the chance I get to see the world and share it with my children. I couldn't imagine not seeing my children's face or watching them experience life.

Lagoon was a blast, despite the crazy people you encounter. The girls had a blast. Erickell was tall enough to ride all the rides. Poor Neicell was 2 inches short. She cried and cried but next year she has hope. Neicell is our little dare devil so it was really hard to see her so upset because she loves thrill rides. We enjoyed going with my good friend Risa and her family. Enjoy the pictures, Erickell was brave enough to go on the Wicked and yes there is a story to tell about that.

I wanted my sweet husband to see and enjoy all his many friends and family and of course to be humiliated and embarrassed (isn't too hard with him). I am so grateful for all the friends and family that helped with the bash. It was a success and the food was great. I am so grateful at the huge turn out and for being Eric's friend. I know you all came for me but he doesn't know that (just kidding). Anyone and everyone knows what a wonderful man he is and this was such a tribute to the best guy ever.

Preschool Graduation

Erickell and Neicell with their bestest buddies from school. I can't believe they are moving on to Kindergarten. Neicell will be going to small group kindergarten where ever that may be (another crisis story in the making) and Erickell will start at our local Sego Lily. They are both so excited. I am a little apprehensive because my sweet Neicell will be alone without her incredible little big sister to watch out for her. I know Neicell needs to be on her own but it is hard to let go. My dear Erickell is so old for her age and is the biggest most responsible 5 year old alive. Erickell is my life saver and I love her to death. I love them both so much it is sad to see them grow up and need me less and less. For the first time we have started letting them go independantly to friends homes in the neighborhood. I know, a little overprotective, but life isn't like it was when we were kids. It is hard to believe how old they are. It is a reminder to me each day to live as the last and never let your children go without hearing you love them to death and want to kiss their faces off. Soon our children wont be under our wings and in grasp anymore.

***I am so blessed to have the most amazing Mother of all. I pray that some day my children look to me as I look to my mother in awe and admiration. I thank the Lord daily for giving me the opportunity and trust to raise these precious children. My calling, as a mother, is the best and most rewarding job I will ever have. I love you girls and Mom.

Spring 08

Eric had a conference in sunny St. George so we decided to make a small family vaca out of it. We spent 2 days in Mesquite gambling and going to the bars. We saw Nims Island, which was darling. By the way, I was kidding about the gambling and bar hopping. We then traveled to Zions and hiked around. The girls favorite part was going through the amazing tunnel. I am afraid my little Neicell isn't the hiker her mother is. She may just be my couch potato. The next 4 days we spent in St. George sitting by the pool and shopping until..... Erickell woke up one morning at 1230 AM and puked every half an hour to hour all night and into the next day. I was glad it wasn't in my house but it sure makes for a long day hanging out in a hotel room. I was ready to get home and have our space after that. I really miss St. George and tell Eric all the time we need to move. Enjoy the pics
